Domain Transfer
My domain is paid for several years in advance, will it be renewed during the transfer?
Some domains are renewed when transferred, while others are renewed before expiration. For .com domains, it is the case that they are renewed upon transfer.
Where can I find my epp/auth code for my domain?
To get your epp/auth code, you typically need to contact your current web hosting provider and ask for it. If you've used an external domain registrar like GoDaddy, you need to contact them to obtain your code.
Can I purchase web hosting without transferring the domain immediately?
Yes, you can. However, you need to have a domain that we can use to create your account, but you don't need to transfer your website, emails, etc., to get started. Learn more here.
Can I transfer multiple domains?
Yes, you can. Start by transferring one domain to us. Afterward, you can easily transfer more domains through our control panel.

Will my website be transferred automatically?
No, your website will only be transferred when you're ready with it on our server. You need to move your website and change the nameservers yourself. The transfer happens only when you do this.
Can you help move my website?
Yes, we offer to transfer WordPress websites. However, this is not part of your web hosting product but a separate service.
Does nordicway take backup for me?
Yes, absolutely!
At nordicway, we care about your and your data's security. Therefore, a backup of all data is made every night. Backups are stored for 14 days at a remote location in an EU country. Daily snapshots are taken here and stored individually for 14 days. Furthermore, backups are mirrored to a third location in another EU country, where they are stored for 3 months. These two remote locations are separated and independent, meaning there is no connection between location A and B. Additionally, the last 3 days' backups are stored locally in case the connection to the remote backup is down. In other words – you are very well covered when it comes to backup, and you always have access to restore it yourself!
Can I move multiple domains?
Yes, you can. Start by transferring one domain to us. Afterward, you can easily transfer more domains through our control panel.
Can my web hosting be used solely as email hosting?
Yes, you decide how you use your space, whether it's for emails or website files.
DNS
Can I work on my site at nordicway before changing DNS?
Yes, you can set up your site with us. When it's working and ready, you change the DNS. You can work on your site with us through your temporary URL or by changing your host file locally on your computer. Can I control DNS myself at nordicway?
Yes, you have full control over all DNS records for your domains with us. Our DNS service is free and included in the price.
Can I use a free DNS service with your web hosting?
You decide which DNS service to use. You can use an external DNS with your web hosting with us or choose to use our DNS service, which is also free and included with your web hosting.
