- Outlook data file could not be created. Make sure the disk you are saving to is not full or write-protected, and that the file is not in use.
If you receive this message, you can try the following:
1: Go to account settings and click on 'Manage profiles.'
2: Click on 'Email accounts.'
3: Click on 'New.'
4: Select 'Manual setup or additional server types' and click next.
5: Fill in the fields and complete your setup.
